Baron Wolman “saw’ the music. As a member of the original staff of Rolling Stone Magazine, Wolman’s photos appeared regularly in the magazine for nearly three years including issue number one in October 1967. Wolman comments, “That shot of Jimi is one of my all-time favorites, more so that I was on-stage with Jimi. It was taken during his first San Francisco concert in February 1968, two nights at the Fillmore, two nights at Winterland. That particular night (when I made this photo) I got so into shooting Hendrix that I felt like I was playing the camera as he was playing the guitar.... For real.

The fine art 11” x 14”photograph is a Silver Gelatin Print. Signed by the photographer.
