PHOTOGRAPHER | He's/She's a Rock Icon, Stones, Led Zep, The Who :: | Baron Wolman “saw’ the music. As a member of the original staff of Rolling Stone Magazine, Wolman’s photos appeared regularly in the magazine for nearly three years including issue number one in October 1967. Wolman comments, “I photographed the Stones on two occasions, first in November 1969, inside the Oakland Coliseum Arena and then again outside in July 1978 in the adjacent Oakland Coliseum. In 1969, I was in the crowd at night with a telephoto lens and black & white film. In 1978, I was on stage in the afternoon shooting color from behind the band toward the crowd. Mick always knew how to dress; still does. The Uncle Sam hat and scarf was the trademark of the Stones’ 1969 tour.”
The fine art 11” x 14”photograph is a Silver Gelatin Print. Signed by the photographer. Edition: Open |
