Born and raised in New Rochelle, NY, Anthony J. Parisi is a graduate of Parsons School of Design where he received his BFA in illustration. Anthony, an award-winning caricaturist and illustrator, likes to think of himself as a “face specialist”, but also has a knack for stylizing the human form to give one dimensional figures the illusion of fluidity and motion. Anthony's love of illustration, classic rock bands and historical musical instruments (he is a self proclaimed guitar junkie) adds to the historic authenticity of every music oriented illustration that he creates. For the past twenty years, Anthony has been an Art Director at several firms in New York, New Jersey and Philadelphia where he honed his design and computer skills in the hospitality, pharmaceutical and entertainment industries. Anthony was the official illustrator for the Philadelphia Flyers, Philadelphia 76ers, Philadelphia Phantoms and the Wings for the 2005, 2006 and 2007 seasons. Anthony's illustrations have been published in many magazines and newspapers, and in 2006, five of Anthony's caricatures of the Beatles were published in a book entitled "Beatle Art: Fantastic New Art of the Fab Four". Anthony was also hired by Philadelphia radio station WMGK to create a caricature of morning show host John DeBella and Breakfast with the Beatles host Andre Gardner for outdoor advertising and for marketing. This year will be the third year that Anthony's illustrations will be on exhibit at the WMGK Classic Rock Art Show. For the past two years, Anthony and been a judge and has given caricature workshops at the annual New Jersey Teen Arts Festival. Anthony has also illustrated two children's books, "Meet the Brittles" and "Monster for President" which are both due to be released in 2008.
Aside from illustrating, Anthony also enjoys writing and recording original music in his home recording studio. When not creating illustrations or creating music, Anthony can be found drawing caricatures of poor unsuspecting passers by while out with friends. Anthony currently lives in West Deptford, NJ with his wife Mary & their daughters Marisa and Melody, who were force fed the Beatle's music in utero.
