This peice of artwork, "Bass Clef", was made by MGK's own Rob Calvert! I started painting as a creative outlet. I have been known to, at times, have an overactive brain and it seemed to me that painting could be a way to channel that energy into something postitive and tangible. No classes. No teachers. No one to tell me what I was doing was right or wrong. Just me creating something that I found pleasing simply using acrylic paint and canvas paper. Imagine my shock when the people around me began responding positively as well! The great thing about art is that if it touches, or elicits a response from, ONE person - then it is valid.
